    Is a concrete slab required for such basements?

    A concrete slab is always required for basements with an upper entrance of 1.5 x 1.5 m and 2.0 x 2.0 m. For basements with a sloping entrance of 2.0 x 1.75 m and D-2.5 m, a concrete slab is only needed when the groundwater level can rise above the bottom of the installed basement (1.6 m - 1.7 m from the ground surface). If there is no groundwater at this depth, a 25 cm layer of B25 dry concrete reinforced with mesh reinforcement is sufficient.

    Can a plastic basement rise to the surface if groundwater is close?

    No, the basement will never rise to the surface if it is installed on a concrete slab. If the groundwater level is high, the basement shall be attached to a concrete slab that will hold it in the ground.

    Will there be moisture on the basement walls?

    Is the basement equipped with lighting?

    Yes, a battery-powered LED lamp which does not require electrical connection is available as standard. If necessary, there are no obstacles to equipping the basement with network lighting.

    What basement is the most suitable for a small land plot?

    In case of a small land plot, a basement with a vertical entrance of 1.5 x 1.5 m or 2 x 2 m is the best choice. Installation requires a pit with dimensions of 1.9 x 1.9 m and 2.4 x 2.4 m, respectively. Such basements may be installed under the terrace, garden house or under the garage floor. For large land plots, we recommend basements with a sloping entrance. If the groundwater is shallow, a basement with a sloping entrance will also be the best solution.
